Demetris Papaprodromou
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Chief People Officer (CPO)
Demetris is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Centaur Trust Group. He studied in the UK and is the holder of a BA (Hons) degree in Accountancy and an MSc degree in Financial Markets & Derivatives. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, as well as, a member of the Cyprus Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Cyprus Investment Funds Association. He has also recently obtained an Executive MBA from the University of Cambridge. Further, he is a Microsoft Certified Professional and a Microsoft CRM specialist as well. He has over 20 years of experience in running successful businesses and has been a guest speaker in many conferences throughout Europe. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors in several international and reputable companies having a wide spectrum of activities ranging from oil exploration and pipeline construction, software development, movie production, aircraft navigation to land and building development.
Demetris is managing the overall operations and resources of the company and is also responsible for the strategic direction of the Group. From his capacity as the Chief People Officer, is in charge of managing the strategy and processes related to building and retaining an exceptional team of professionals.
Lefki Michaelidou
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Lefki completed her studies in Cyprus as a fellow member of the Association of Accounting Technicians in the UK. She has over 20 years of experience in the financial services sector and has developed an extensive range of skills. Prior to joining Centaur Trust, she held the position of Chief Accounting Officer of a reputable, listed group of companies.
Lefki joined Centaur Trust in 2008, and is currently the Chief Financial Officer of the group.
Valentina Hadjithoma
Group Financial Controller (GFC)
Valentina is a holder of a BA degree in Accounting from the European University Cyprus and is also a qualified Certified Accountant (ACCA).
She joined Centaur Trust in 2008, and has over 12 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting. Valentina is currently the Head of the Accounting Department and also the Group Financial Controller.
Vassilis Solomonides
Chief Risk and Compliance Officer (CRCO)
Vassilis serves the position of Chief Risk and Compliance Officer of Centaur Trust Group.
His academic background includes a BA (Hons) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, as well as the ACA professional qualification. He currently is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (“ICAEW) and a Certified Person for AML purposes under The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (“CySEC”).
He also holds a seat in the Board of Directors of various Cyprus tax-resident Companies, with international presence, engaged in industries such as shipping, financial markets and derivatives, automotive and real estate development.
Vassilis’ role is to undertake the responsibility of managing and mitigating the Group’s risk and compliance exposure, and discharging the Group’s duties and obligations against our regulator, the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (“CySEC”).
Ioannis Mikellides
Chief Operations Officer (COO)
Ioannis currently assumes the role of Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the group.
Ioannis is a holder of a BSc degree in Economic Science from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and an MSc degree in Finance, Investment and Risk from the University of Kent, UK. He is also a certified Anti-Money Laundering professional from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (“CySEC”) and serves as the Alternate Compliance Officer of the group.
He joined Centaur Trust in 2012 and has since acquired extensive experience in corporate governance and fiduciary services, operations management and compliance oversight. Throughout his career within the firm, he has been actively involved in optimising internal processes, enhancing client service delivery and supporting strategic initiatives across departments.
Ioannis’ role is to monitor and streamline the group’s operations on a continuous basis and ensure the highest quality of service across the group’s stakeholders.
